Doddi's on a big day!

On Saturday morning, all swimmers set PB's for the Reef to Groyne leg of the Doddi's "swim". In horrific conditions generated by the cold front that crossed the coast a few hours earlier, a group of hardy (or should that be fool hardy!) swimmers took only 3 or so minutes to be swept from the Reef to the beach past the Groyne. Some enjoyed it so much they repeated the effort!

The general consensus was the current was strongest yet experienced, although there may have been days when the waves were larger.

Thanks to those who remained ashore and attempted to keep an eye on all in the water.
