2021 MSWA State Championships - Winners & Records

Congratulations to all Mandurah Mannas who competed in the 2021 MSWA State Championships on the 27 and 28 March. Mandurah won the best Country Club and came a close second to Claremont overall. Mandurah swimmers had numerous outstanding swims and set many PB's. In the process, Mandurah swimmers set 15 new State Records and 46 new Club Records (subject to change). Go Mannas!

First of all, well done to our Age Group winners, Anwar Moreno (40-44), John Cahill (50-54), Mike Bennett (65-69) and Pauline Wingate (80 to 84).

A big pat on the back to Jack Knobben, Anwar Moreno, Jeff Rimmer, Kirk Bamford, and Pauline Wingate who set a total of 15 new State Records. Pauline and Anwar were standouts setting 6 and 4 new State Records, respectively. Not to forget our new State Relay Record Team of Gerda Williams, Jannie Thomson, Pauline Wingate and Renae Jez. The girls set a new State Record for the 280-319 Age Group Womens 200 m Freestyle Relay in a time of 2:54:57.

Note: * indicates that another swimmer in the same event set a new even faster State Record.

On top of that we musts congratulate the 12 Mannas that set 46 new Club Records including: Erica Thomas (2), Glenda Hurtado (1), Deborah Bloor (2), Pauline Wingate (7), Jack Knobben (6), Anwar Moreno (10), John Cahill (1), Jeff Rimmer (5), Michael Bennett (5), Paul Jacklin (1), Richard Fox (2), Kirk Bamford (4).
