Congratulations - we have 100 Members!

Welcome and congratulations to our latest and 100th member Kurt. To recognise and celebrate the milestone, Pres. Deb supplied a carrot cake at Doddi's this morning for Kurt to cut. It is great to see so many "young" swimmers joining the club, so much so, the average age of the club members is now a very cheeky 59, braking the "sexy 60" barrier for the first time for many years.

The adjacent photograph shows, in cool and slightly sloppy conditions, Member 99 (Sarah, Kurt's partner) keeping lookout for Kurt and the rest of the swim team.

Together with the photos above and adjacent, the slideshow below is a collection of Ivan's photographs of the morning swim. The big night at Gloucester Park took its toll on numbers. Nevertheless, a hardy bunch took the water for the usual lazy 1 or 2 km swim.
