2017 MSWA OWS Series Results

The winners of the 2016/2017 MSWA Open Water Series were announced after the State Championships at HBF Stadium on Sunday 30 April. Congratulations to Captain Jen for winning the 30-34 Age Group and placing 3rd overall in the Top 20 Female Swimmers. Our other winner was Rod who won the 85-89 Age Group. A special mention goes to Paul for coming second in the 70-74 Age Group, which is a great achievement given he was up against Victor Paul.

Over the series, Mandurah Masters was represented by the third most number of swimmers with a total of 38 Mannas, which was only narrowly exceeded by Claremont and Fremantle with 42 and 41 swimmers, respectively.

Out of a total of 30 Masters clubs with swimmers competing, Mandurah finished with the 5th highest overall points and 12th Club on average swimmer points.

Our club's performance in both the pool and open water is evidence of our great swimmers, coaches and team spirit. Well done everyone!
