Ken Phillips 2015 MSA Official of the Year!

Congratulations to Ken Phillips who, at the Presentation Function of the 2016 Masters Swimming Australia National Championships in Victoria, was named the Official of the Year for 2015.

How good is that!

Ken had a busy year refereeing at MSWA events, educating and mentoring trainee Officials, as well as his highlight for the year refereeing at the Fina World Masters Championship in Kazan, Russia.

Obviously, Ken's selfless contribution to Masters Swimming did not go unnoticed at the top.

Well done Ken - you continue to inspire us all and we are very proud of you!

Mandurah Mannas also congratulates another West Aussie in Katya Anderson from Superfins WA who was named the 2015 Coach of the Year. Katya is Head Coach of the Superfins squad which is made up of physically and intellectually disabled swimmers with a broad range of disabilities. She oversees the entire coaching program and co-ordinates up to 18 coaches. She took 11 of her swimmers to the Hobart Nationals for the first time.
