Rod back in the swim of things!

What a great morning "at the office" (Doddi's Beach) this morning.

Our soon to be nonagenarian Rod Baker, after several months battling an illness which has kept him out of the water, took the plunge this morning. Under the care of his daughter Merrilee and help from Club members to get him to and from the water, Rod managed to swim half way up and back to the groyne in fine style (I am told).

The photos show him with Merrilee on the beach then having a towel off after a well deserved cold shower.

Congratulations Rod - we're all so proud of you.
