Vorgee Endurance 1000 swims are an excellent way to improve your fitness and endurance. The program is designed to encourage people to swim whatever stroke(s) they choose over 400 m, 800 m & 1500 m or for 30 min, 45 min & 60 min duration.
The Club has made Sunday mornings from 9:00 am to 10.30 am the Vorgee Endurance 1000 program participation time. During this time, volunteers time the swims and a committee member or nominated person will be present to certify the correctness of the timing and verify the swims, which is necessary not only to comply with the Vorgee Rules, but also to ensure that any new club records set are swum in accordance with the same rules as club records set at swim meets.

Historically, Sunday aerobic swims were very popular, but have proven less so in recent times. It would be great to see more members giving them a go and enjoying a coffee and chat after. Don't forget we have a morning tea on the last Sunday of the month, where everyone brings a plate.
