Autograph signing at MARC Open Day

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped set up and "man" our stand at the MARC Open Day on Sunday 9 October.

Special mention must go to Sue G, Sue Mc and Jan for literally tackling everyone who tried to get past our stand to enter or leave the Aquatic centre. Their "don't take no for an answer" attitude is bound to end up in a major intake of new members.

The highlights of the day were the ongoing demand for Graeme to autograph the Club leaflets, which featured his picture on the cover page, and Gerry selflessly giving his mobile number to numerous ladies just in case they needed someone to contact with any questions about the Club!
